Tower View Halloween Fundraiser Success
One of our young people worked alongside staff to organize a Halloween fundraiser within the home in October. The fundraiser was to raise money for a trip to Tanzania.
The house was decorated to resemble a haunted house and it looked fantastic and maximum effort was put into this by all young people and staff. All the other homes were invited as were friends and families and there was a massive turn out.
Everyone had great fun and we raised 250.00. Karishma Patel (CareTech) took great interest in the trip, all the panel at CareTech were in agreement that the work and travel that our young person will be undertaking is worthy and will hopefully inspire other service users to do the same, the board and trustees agreed to provide a payment of £2,500 to help support fundraising activities.
