The Lion King – Palace Theatre
25th January – 52 staff and children were delighted to attend the live theatre performance of Disney The Lion King at The Palace Theatre in Manchester. For the majority of the children this was their first ever experience of a live show and many didn’t quite know what to expect. So when the music began and the puppets arrived on stage the children were emerged into the African animal world and the delight on the children’s faces was a sight to behold. One child said, ‘ why have we never been to a musical before? And when can I go to the next one?’ another child said, ‘ the giraffes were the best.’
