Pupils from Linton School have proudly contributed to this year’s Poppy Appeal 2025, collecting an impressive £443.33 during their fundraising efforts at the Sainsbury’s Superstore. Their total not only surpasses previous years but is also double the amount raised last year.

The initiative formed part of their Outdoor Education (OE) programme, aimed at strengthening SMSC development through community partnership. Throughout the day, pupils challenged themselves to step outside their comfort zones, overcoming anxieties associated with busy public spaces. They also showed growing confidence and maturity as they engaged respectfully with members of the public.

Their achievement reflects both their hard work and the strong community spirit they continue to build.
