Care

Our small but dedicated and experienced staff team are able to provide a settled environment where the young people feel safe to express their needs and are supported to address the issues that may have prevented them from being supported within their own community. We access a range of interventions based on the specific needs of the child – including intensive interaction, PECS, and TEACCH where there are communication difficulties.

The staff team at Aroona are all highly skilled and qualified in working with young people with learning disabilities. The staff continually undertake training to extend their knowledge and skills. The team consists of a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, two Shift Leaders and Residentail Care workers.
